NGN Case Studies & Standalone Clinical Judgment Items
Train the chain of decisions, rather than memorizing one isolated answer. An unfolding case asks you to interpret information and then respond as the clinical situation develops.

200 unfolding case studies
The case library contains 200 six-item educational cases. Work with a patient scenario, history, observations and relevant results, then follow a sequence of clinical-judgment tasks. The cases are original practice content, not actual NCLEX exam questions.
304 standalone NGN items
The separate standalone collection focuses on individual clinical decisions using NGN-style item formats. It provides another way to practice clinical judgment without completing an entire six-item case.
Reasoning and scoring belong together
Review the supported item’s answer, rationale and earned versus possible points. Item formats and scoring rules can differ, so a percentage should be read alongside the actual reasoning. RN Clarity practice scoring is educational and is not official NCLEX ability estimation.
A complete case you can inspect now
The public case walkthrough provides six interactive steps, model answers, explanations, a result summary and an audio explanation where available. You can pause the guided presentation and work through each step yourself. Public demo interactions do not create a personal account history.
Use cases for discussion
A tutor can pause at a cue, ask students to defend a hypothesis, and compare their reasoning with the model answer. A learner can revisit the decision that changed when new information appeared. Neither use replaces supervised clinical orientation.
What access do I need?
The complete public NGN example is free to explore. Full case and standalone libraries require a paid plan. Account-based progress and saved practice results belong to the signed-in workspace.
Common questions
Are NGN cases included in the 3,233 question count?
These are separately described collections: 3,233 question-bank items, 200 six-item cases and 304 standalone NGN items. Do not treat a case count as a count of individual questions.
Is a practice score a pass prediction?
No. It shows performance on the attempted educational content. It is not a validated prediction of the licensing exam result.
