Australian NCLEX and Registration Cost Planner

Separate USD NCLEX charges from AUD registration, assessment, travel and preparation expenses.

Separate foreign examination and local document costs

Quick answer

Australian registration NCLEX fees are quoted in USD. Test centres in Australia are international locations under Pearson’s NCLEX definition. Add AUD expenses separately and enter your own exchange rate for an estimated combined subtotal.

First confirm that NCLEX applies

Select whether NCLEX is required, not required or not yet confirmed for your route. An unknown route should not appear to have a known total. An Australian graduate or eligible alternative registration route must not be billed a fictional NCLEX requirement.

The planner is not an invoice. Unknown registration, assessment, tax and travel costs remain blank until you enter a checked amount. Blank means unconfirmed, not free.

Read the currency and date correctly

For Australian registration, the published base NCLEX fee is USD 200 before 1 February 2027 and USD 350 from that date. International scheduling adds USD 150, with applicable tax potentially additional. The planner lets you compare those two registration periods.

Pearson defines Australian-registration domestic locations as the US and specified US territories. A test appointment in Australia is international for this purpose. Read the official location definition before turning off the international option.

Build the rest of the budget from your own route

Enter current AUD registration and assessment charges, clinical examination costs if required, language evidence, document handling, travel, optional preparation and other expenses. Use the actual quoted amounts rather than someone else’s total.

Enter AUD per one USD using a bank or provider quote. The estimated conversion does not include unentered charges or guarantee your card exchange rate. RN Clarity subscriptions remain USD purchases; your payment provider’s conversion and fees can differ. Save the budget with the date and check it again before paying.

  • Keep NCLEX, OSCE and registration fees in separate categories.
  • Include repeat-exam expenses only if an additional sitting is needed.
  • Treat tax, exchange costs and card fees explicitly.
  • Do not count an optional prep subscription as a regulator fee.
