Testing locations and travel for nurses in the GCC

Testing locations and travel for NCLEX-RN learners in the GCC. Follow a practical checklist, identify the right official authority and keep study, registration and travel tasks clear.

Reviewed October 4, 2026 · Educational planning guide

Use the NCLEX-specific locator

The official international NCLEX location list checked on October 6, 2026 does not list the six GCC states. Do not assume a general Pearson centre offers NCLEX. Use the NCLEX locator and confirm an actual appointment before arranging travel.

  • Open the official NCLEX location page and its locator.
  • Confirm that the selected location offers NCLEX, not just other Pearson exams.
  • Check actual availability within your ATT dates.

Verify the whole trip before booking

A candidate living in a GCC state may need to examine outside their country of residence. Do not infer entry permission from residence status in another GCC state.

  • Travel document and entry permission.
  • Appointment confirmation and local time.
  • Arrival, transport and accommodation arrangements.
  • Changes or cancellation options.

Check exam-day identity separately

Use the official identification rules for your examination location and registration. Resolve name discrepancies before the appointment.

  • Accepted original identification.
  • Legal-name match.
  • Expiry and document-condition checks.
