NCLEX Cost Planner for Indian Nurses: USD, CAD and INR Estimates
Keep overseas exam fees, local document costs and optional preparation separate. Estimate INR using your own current exchange rate.
Quick answer
The exam fee currency follows the licensure destination. Enter the correct USD or CAD exchange rate to estimate INR; do not add USD and CAD together or treat an estimate as a payment quote.
Choose the correct published exam fee
Before February 1, 2027, NCLEX registration is $200 USD for U.S. or Australian licensure and $360 CAD for Canadian registration. From February 1, 2027, the announced registration amounts are $350 USD and $570 CAD respectively. International scheduling adds $150 in the relevant currency; tax can apply.
The planner defaults to an international appointment in India. Turn that option off if your actual appointment is domestic to the applicable destination. Board, evaluation, language, documents, travel and preparation costs remain separate. For Australian registration, Pearson defines domestic locations as the United States and specified US territories; Australian test centres are international locations. Use Pearson’s official testing-location definition before changing the option.

An INR estimate needs the right conversion rate
For a U.S. or Australian route, enter INR per USD. For a Canadian route, enter INR per CAD. Use a current rate from the bank or provider you expect to use, and include conversion charges separately if needed.
Foreign-currency subtotal × entered INR rate + confirmed INR expenses = planning subtotal. Blank categories remain unknown. The output is not an all-inclusive quotation and does not predict your card issuer’s final charge.
Budget from invoices, not a universal package price
Request prices from the regulator, selected credential service, language provider and document issuers. Do not assume every candidate needs every service. Check refund and validity conditions before payment.
RN Clarity’s subscription checkout uses USD prices. Your card issuer may convert the payment and charge fees. The public planner does not create a checkout session or promise that Stripe will automatically offer INR.
- Keep the fee date and currency beside every amount.
- Use zero only for a confirmed no-cost item.
- Keep an emergency margin for travel and document changes.
