Make a document inventory before ordering
List each nursing school attended, qualification earned, name used in its records and any nursing registration held. Include incomplete transfers or name changes when the application asks for them. This is an organising aid, not a universal requirement list. Compare it with the current official application and ask the regulator about items that are unclear before sending substitutes.
Separate a copy from primary-source verification
A scanned diploma you upload for your own records may not satisfy a requirement for a school to send a transcript directly. Ask your registrar which official request form is needed, where it will be sent and whether the recipient permits electronic delivery. For New York, the current Form 2F instructions govern direct school submissions; California describes its own international transcript process.
Check the scope of any eligibility answer
An answer about sitting the exam may not answer whether a licence can be issued afterward. Keep education assessment, local registration, English proficiency, identification and any SSN or other identity requirements in separate rows. Ask what applies at application, examination and licence issuance; do not infer one stage’s rule from another.
